**Donations are Doubled up to $13,000 thanks to matching donors!** The mission of Florida Urgent Rescue (F.U.R.) is to save urgent animals. We take on tough cases, including cruelty cases, seniors, and dogs with serious injuries or other major medical problems. We try to help the animals who need the most help.
In addition to rescuing sick and injured animals, our FUR Urgent Transport Program has also helped rescue hundreds of animals in emergencies, including 18 hurricanes and natural disasters. We also completed multiple rescue missions on the ground in Ukraine, and in Turkey after the devastating earthquake, and our team assisted in Los Angeles after the devastating LA Fires.

FUR rescued more than 3,800 dogs and cats since we began operating in Nov 2015. Florida Urgent Rescue earned a Four-Star Rating on Charity Navigator with a score of 100%, the highest possible rating. FUR also received a Candid Platinum Seal of Transparency by Guidestar, and is a Top Rated Nonprofit on Great Nonprofits. Less than 1/10th of 1% of nonprofits receive these ratings.
