Inviting Young People to Experience Life as God Designed it to be Lived

For more than 50 years in St. Augustine, Young Life Staff and Volunteers have been running the most important race of all: the race for kids.  We reach out to those who are lost and hurting and share the good news of God's unconditional love for them.  We meet kids on their turf and treat every releationship like a marathon, not a sprint.  We go the distance, just like Jesus does. 

Leaders connect with kids and help them feel KNOWN. By Name. For a Purpose.

Young Life doesn't start with a program. It starts with adults who are concerned enough about kids to go to them, on their turf and in their culture, building bridges of authentic friendship. These relationships don't happen overnight — they take time, patience, trust, and consistency.   

Young Life leaders go to the public schools to build relationships with kids by eating lunch with them and playing spike ball, basketball, or some kind of game. Then the leader invites them to WyldLife or Young Life Club event. We like to consider it a "Party with a Purpose." We have a great time and share the gospel. 

If the student is interested in deepening their relationship with Christ, there are other enriching events that Young Life offers: Campaigners (a bible study), weekend camps during the school year, week-long camps during the summer and the opportunity to be on a work crew.

Young Life Camps are the highlight of many students involved with Young Life. However, the cost of camp hinders many kids from enjoying an incredible adventure of a lifetime. 

The funds raised from this campaign will support 50 St. Augustine youth and leaders going to camp this summer.
